Job description:

Exciting opportunity to join the Department of Health Tasmania’s ICT Project Teams, delivering digital transformation and driving meaningful change

The Team:

Enterprise Architecture Group: The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team plays a critical role in shaping the department’s digital future by aligning technology with strategic business goals. EA develops strategies, defines enterprise-wide reference architectures, and ensures compliance with technical standards to drive consistency and innovation. By partnering with projects across Health ICT and the Bluegum Digital Health Transformation Program, our architects design scalable, secure, and integrated solutions that enable better services, improved outcomes, and long-term sustainability.

The Bluegum Digital Health Transformation Program, including the implementation of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, is essential for efficient delivery of frontline health services into the future. The program aims to significantly enhance healthcare for all people in Tasmania by creating a more connected and accessible health system, ensuring that all Tasmanians receive the care they need, in the right place, at the right time, ultimately improving health outcomes across the state.
