Job description:
The redevelopment of Macquarie Point is an urban renewal project in central Hobart, which will see a former industrial site revitalised into an exciting mixed-use precinct incorporating a multipurpose stadium.
As a senior member of the Corporation, the Development Manager is responsible for leading the commercial planning, feasibility assessment, structuring and delivery of property development opportunities within the Macquarie Point Precinct.
The role will drive the progression of development parcels from strategic concept through to market transaction, including feasibility modelling, revenue identification, concept massing and built form testing, land release structuring, and transaction advisory.
The position ensures that development outcomes optimise public value, commercial return, urban design quality and alignment with the Site Master Plan, Precinct Development Plan, Financial Model and the Corporation’s objectives.
