About the role
The Visitor Services Officer will provide high-quality services to support the business enterprise at Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre.
- Assist with the day-to day operation of the Visitor Centre including the park shop.
- Provide information services to visitors.
- Carry out sales, collect and account for income (park entry fees, admission charges, fees, donations).
- Support visitor safety, incident response and reporting.
- Maintain displays, amenities and stock levels.
Based at the gateway to Freycinet National Park, this role places you among the breathtaking landscapes of Wineglass Bay and the iconic Hazards mountain range. The Freycinet Peninsula offers something for everyone, from pristine beaches to world-class walking tracks, making it an inspiring place to work. You will enjoy the unique opportunity to be immersed in this spectacular natural environment while helping visitors discover and make the most of the region’s recreational experiences and facilities.
Hours per fortnight
51.46 hours per fortnight.
Desirable requirements
- A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- A current Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
