The Team

The Repatriation Site Clinical Coordinators provides after-hours and site-specific leadership and clinical support to Repat Centre staff.  The Repatriation site consists of four wards incorporating Palliative, GEM and Rehabilitation patients.

The Role

The Clinical Coordinator - Repatriation Centre provides leadership and direction for the clinical care provided by Centre nursing staff. Working autonomously under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager.

You will need:

  1. Demonstrated high level skills in the clinical coordination of patient care, clinical handover, patient flow principles and patient transfer/discharge planning.
  2. Demonstrated ability to lead and/or work effectively with an inter-professional team in the planning and coordination of clinical care for patients requiring specialist care using problem solving skills at an advanced level.
  3. Possess advanced skills in managing clinical deterioration, together with the ability to manage clinical and non-clinical emergency situations.

Details of appointment

Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months. 

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$109,767 to $115,813 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
