Clinical Coordinator - Repatriation Centre (522435L9)
The Team
The Repatriation Site Clinical Coordinators provides after-hours and site-specific leadership and clinical support to Repat Centre staff. The Repatriation site consists of four wards incorporating Palliative, GEM and Rehabilitation patients.
The Role
The Clinical Coordinator - Repatriation Centre provides leadership and direction for the clinical care provided by Centre nursing staff. Working autonomously under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager.
You will need:
- Demonstrated high level skills in the clinical coordination of patient care, clinical handover, patient flow principles and patient transfer/discharge planning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and/or work effectively with an inter-professional team in the planning and coordination of clinical care for patients requiring specialist care using problem solving skills at an advanced level.
- Possess advanced skills in managing clinical deterioration, together with the ability to manage clinical and non-clinical emergency situations.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$109,767 to $115,813 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
