CASUAL POOL Hospital Aide (509344)
The Role
- Clean, maintain and sterilise work areas and ward equipment within infection control guidelines.
- Provide a communication network between departments including delivery and collection service as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and staff.
You will need
- Demonstrated knowledge of the standards required to prevent infection.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and public.
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team in promoting a harmonious work environment.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$59,668 to $65,185 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Plus 25% Casual Loading - Equivalent of $37.60 to $41.07 per hour.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
