The Team

The Mersey Community Hospital Attendant team provides vital support to nursing and medical staff through a broad range of clinical and non-clinical duties. The team undertakes patient care support tasks such as transfers, positioning, and equipment handling, while also ensuring the maintenance and safety of patient aids. As active members of the Emergency Response team, attendants play a key role in hospital-wide emergency codes, security support, and critical response situations. The team also contributes to specialised services including theatre assistance and basic plaster care under clinical direction. Committed to quality care, safety, and customer service, the Attendant team fosters a supportive environment that promotes positive patient outcomes across the hospital.

Details of appointment

Casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months. 

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$70,033 to $75,114 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025.
