The Team

The Deloraine District Hospital is a 20 bed Acute care facility that includes Palliative Care and General Medical Care. The Hospital coordinates the delivery of a broad range of community and allied services within the Meander Valley. We strive to deliver personalised care in a calm, welcoming and warm environment while being innovative and having a can-do attitude. Our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce and the Meander Valley community. 

The Role

  • Undertake administrative and clerical support to the Director Of Nursing.
  • Maintenance and coordination of the hospitals centralised electronic calendar.
  • Attend to invoice and receipting requirements of the facility, preparation of all Hospital accounts.
  • Assist with Rostering  

You will need

  • Knowledge of Office management principles.
  • Well development computer skills and efficiently operate word processing , spreadsheet, calendar, mail and database systems.
  • Well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Details of appointment

  • Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$68,854 to $73,947 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025
