Duties
The role of Manager, Partnering and Employment Services will shape and drive the contemporary service delivery for the Partnering and Employment Services team in providing a broad range of strategic workforce management, recruitment, employment and employment relations matters to service arms within the Department. As a member of the People and Culture leadership team, you will bring a collaborative leadership style, stakeholder management skills, and extensive experience in a wide range of areas within human resources.
As part of your role, you will lead a team of HR professionals and provide guidance, coaching and upskilling. You will also work closely with a range of stakeholders across the Department, including service arms.
Your day will comprise of a broad range of responsibilities, and no two days will be the same, allowing you the opportunity to experience a myriad of strategic workforce and people management experience within an organisation with service arms. You will be working in a collaborative team environment and will bring to the role your high-level interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism.

Essential Requirements
Pre-Employment Checks
The Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period, which are not mitigated by additional information, may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment. Such offences would include, but are not limited to:
- Arson and fire setting;
- Sexual offences;
- Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
- Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
- Making false declarations;
- Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
- Malicious damage and destruction to property
- Trafficking of narcotic substance;
- False alarm raising.
Desirable Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience in human resources or a related discipline.
- A current drivers licence.
