Job description:
The position provides technical project management services for the design, implementation, maintenance and administration of the department’s ICT infrastructure including business applications, security and networks within a managed operating environment. This position contributes to the development of documentation of operational standards, systems, and procedures as a part of project closure and as required. This position contributes to the ongoing review and development of ICT strategic planning.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Manage the strategic projects within ICT Operations by effectively designing, configuring and implementing all components in order to achieve objectives in a structured manner.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders in the development and management of project outputs.
- Undertake basic business analysis, requirements gathering and testing of project-related inputs and outputs as required.
- Develop high level operational procedure documentation during and upon project closure.
- Provide technical leadership and advice to ICT Operations staff within the disciplines of Cloud computing, system administration, application support, automation, MDM and Microsoft Technologies in accordance with current and emerging security best practice both on premise and in the cloud.
- Research and plan initiatives for new and emerging technologies and provide continual input into ICT strategic plans.
- Contribute to the ICT Change Management and Architecture Review process.
Desirable Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a complex IT environment.
- Current Driver's Licence.
