Duties
The Tasmanian Autism Diagnostic Service (TADS) delivers high quality, evidence based, independent autism diagnostic assessments for children and young people up to 18 years in accordance with Agency policy and direction, legal requirements and professional competence. The core objectives of this role are to:
• Work collaboratively with the Manager and Administration Officer to provide administrative and business services to TADS.
• Undertake office administrative functions to ensure the smooth operations of TADS.
• Provide administrative support services, and to maintain effective working relationship with TADS and other stakeholders including liaison with families, health professionals and other government and non-government organisations.
Period of Appointment
ASAP for 12 months
Hours per fortnight
76 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements
The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.
• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).
