The Role

As part of the health care team the occupant of this position will provide reception and administrative support services for Women's and Children's Services (WACS) ward areas.

Provide reception and administrative support to the Maternity Unit, reporting to the Maternity Unit Manager (MUM), Clinical Midwifery Consultant (CNC) and In Charge Midwife, by assisting with enquiries from patients and clinical staff. Updating of patient information regarding admissions and discharges in the health information management system.

• Work in a supportive team environment with a great team culture.
• Provide frontline support and assistance with administrative operations of the maternity ward.

Details of appointments

Permanent part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 16 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as you can join us!

Fixed term part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 72 hours per fortnight commencing 23 August 2026 until 14 August 2027.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$68,854 to $73,947 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025.
