Senior Project Officer
The Team
Working with guidance from the Project Manager and the Executive Director Operations and Performance the Project Officer assists in the development, management and implementation of strategies, plans and process to ensure the delivery of Hospital North access & flow program.
The Project team currently have a number of diverse and interesting projects underway, for example, developing the Stroke Model of Care, submissions for a GEM Model of Care, increasing the number of patients discharging from hospital each day prior to 12pm, and supporting teams to understand DRGs and RSIs and bring these into alignment with peers.
You will need:
- Demonstrated project management experience, including organisational skills to plan, coordinate and contribute to numerous concurrent project activities whilst working in an environment subject to work pressures and change.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and contribute to the analysis of complex issues and the development of creative strategic and operational solutions, required to deliver improvements in and access and flow initiatives.
- Proven high level interpersonal and communication skills, together with the demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, resolve conflict, negotiate solutions and facilitate change.

Details of appointment
Permanent, full time day-worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$111,754 to $126,579 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
