Period of Appointment

Appointment to the role is on a permanent basis. 

Hours per fortnight

Full-time 73.50 hours per fortnight. 

Duties:

  1. Strategically plan and manage the delivery the Corporation’s governance using appropriate management tools and techniques to ensure processes are followed and outcomes delivered on time and within resource constraints.
  2. Continuously improve the Corporation’ governance processes and systems to enhance the quality of the Corporation’s outputs.
  3. Prepare written materials including meeting papers, minutes, briefing papers, reports, plans and official correspondence.
  4. Edit, quality assure and proof written materials, ensuring information is factually accurate, up to date, meets required standards and templates, has the correct spelling and grammar and reads clearly.
  5. Establish and build productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective engagement, and where relevant, that governance processes and objectives are achieved within time constraints.
  6. Process and draft responses to Requests for Information received by the Corporation.
  7. Support stakeholder engagement through effective record keeping, planning and content preparation.
  8. Provide administrative support as required.

Desirable Requirements

Experience in a public sector or complex governance environment.
