The Team
The Surgical and Perioperative Team are an integral part of the surgical pathway for patients in the Tasmanian Health Service.
The Role
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for being a part of the pre-admission assessment of patients requiring surgery and or procedures across the NWRH and MCH
You will need
- Have effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in an autonomous manner
- To identify in your application if you are available to work at both MCH and NWRH or if not both, which site you are available to work at

Details of appointment
Multiple permanent part time, day worker positions at North West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team!
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
