The Team:

The Family Violence Counselling and Support Services (FVCSS) offers specialised counselling and support to assist adults, children and young people who have experienced family violence.  This service is part of the Safe at Home service system, with a strong focus on the safety and well-being of victim survivors of family violence.

The Role:

  • Provide high level support and guidance to meet the objectives of the projects identified by Family Violence
    Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS). 
  • Provide specialist advice and expertise in relation to project support required.
  • Act as a high-level resource to schedule and provide education and training to existing and new stakeholders in relation to the relevant projects. 
  • Develop, extract, and analyse data from consumer and stakeholder consultation including preparing high quality reports and ensuring data integrity and security of consumers and stakeholders information is maintained.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, management, and other key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the provision of high quality, effective services relating to the objectives of the project.

You will need:

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, information management and/or data analysis to develop, analyse and extract relevant information to meet project objectives.
  • Highly-developed written and oral communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team to support project objectives.
  • Proven ability to provide specialist advice, education and training and negotiate effectively with a wide range of staff, managers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge of in the relevant project area.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.  

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $102,027 to $106,985 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Health and Human Services Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2025.

  • Postgraduate qualification/s in project management, health system management or equivalent experience
