The role of Director (Marine Resources) is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of Tasmania’s most important economic and environmental sectors while helping deliver a sustainable future for the State.

Key focus areas include:

• Strategic leadership of the Aquaculture Branch and support to the broader Marine Resources Strategic Business Unit.
• Best practice management of a team providing high-level technical and policy advice to government.
• Leading experts in developing policy and programs in response to marine stressor events
• Lead the administration of the Tasmania’s marine farming and living marine resources regulatory functions.
• Build strong relationships across industry, government, research and community sectors.
• Foster collaboration and innovation to support marine resource management.

To succeed in this role, you will be a highly capable executive leader with proven experience operating in a complex environment and delivering strategic outcomes through effective leadership, engagement and collaboration.
