Be a part of something new

The Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line (ARL) has transitioned to a new way of working. It operates as a dedicated rapid screening and referral ‘front door’ for Child Safety Services. It will triage phone and online concerns, about children and young people who may be experiencing, or are at risk of experiencing, abuse, neglect or family violence.

  • Apply evidence informed decision-making and risk assessment frameworks to support sound triage outcomes
  • Manage sensitive information with integrity, confidentiality, and a child-centred approach
  • Collaborate with multiple external stakeholders and present matters to regional Child Safety Service teams for further assessment
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in various systems through clear documentation
