An opportunity exists for a suitable qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a senior leadership role. As Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) of our Transit Lounge in the Integrated Operations Centre, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles. You will benefit from working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and another clinical ANUM in an at times fast paced, collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. 

The Role

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced Registered Nurse who, within the defined area of practice:

• Assists the NUM in leading and directing the team to ensure high-quality patient centred care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. 
• Participates in quality improvement and activities and audits in accordance with NSQHS standards.
• Is proficient in planning, implementing, and leading projects: reviewing, developing, and maintaining policies and procedures; and managing rostering to ensure the unit is appropriately staffed.

Details of appointment

Permanent part-time shift worker position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you are able to join the team

Salary

$109,767 to $115,813 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

• Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications
