The Team

Based at the Launceston General Hospital and working within the Infection Prevention and Control Unit, you will be joining a team of dynamic and dedicated nursing and administration professionals with a passion for caring for their colleagues and promoting communicable disease prevention and control.

The Role

Provide administrative support to the Staff Health team

  • Delivery of prompt, sensitive and confidential customer service
  • Coordinate the administrative aspects of the Staff Health program
  • Data entry and management of Staff Health database including reporting functions 

You will need

  • High level communication skills, with proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with patient information management systems and databases, or ability to quickly acquire this knowledge
  • Experience in performing clerical and administrative tasks to a high degree of accuracy

Details of appointment

Permanent part time, day worker position, working 12 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date. 

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$68,854 to $73,947 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025.
