Job description:
Within this context the Director of Nursing will be responsible for delivering school nursing support services through providing strategic leadership over all aspects of the state-wide School Health Nurse Program. The role will provide high-level specialist advice in the delivery of the program and in accordance with relevant legislative, regulatory, and ethical frameworks, as well as state and national strategic direction.

About the Role

Period of Appointment
Ongoing - ASAP start date
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

76 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Desirable Requirements
- Current drivers’ licence.
- Relevant post-graduate qualification.
