This is a day position working 73.50 hours per fortnight.

Working Environment
Tasmania Prison Service (TPS) has prison facilities located at Risdon Vale, Hobart and Launceston in Tasmania. This position is based at Risdon Vale. The Risdon Vale site offers a corporate working environment without the hustle and bustle of city centre offices, free on-site parking and access to the on-site staff gym (or head across the road to Risdon Brook Dam for a walk at lunch time).
Duties
- Deliver records services in accordance with predefined procedures including all aspects of document and file management, distribution, recording and tracking of information using the departments EDRMS (Content Manager).
- Search, retrieve and supply information upon request and respond to general enquiries in relation to records maintained by the Department.
- Undertake simple system administration tasks within the EDRMS (Content Manager), including record access control and maintenance of user profiles.
- Provide first point of contact for advice, support and assistance on records management enquiries, and using the EDRMS.
- Assist with retention and disposal activities including reviewing and allocating appropriate retention timeframes to information and preparing information for approval to dispose in accordance with the Archives Act 1983.
- As required from time to time, perform other tasks appropriate to the skills, experience and position classification.

- Experience with TRIM/Records Manager/Content manager
