Duties

• Undertake major policy research, analysis and development to support the ongoing activities of the office.
• Provide advice and support to the Implementation Monitor, including undertaking evaluation, monitoring and review activities in relation to monitored recommendations.
• Plan, organise and coordinate evaluation activities to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and implement initiatives that progress and support the Implementation Monitor’s strategic directions and priorities, in collaboration with key stakeholders. This may require facilitation and leadership including negotiation of agreed positions within defined parameters.
• Research, analyse, prepare and present complex information utilising a range of methods including reports, briefings and presentations. Ability to analyse and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and effectively communicate this.
• Liaise, consult, negotiate, and collaborate with a range of stakeholders at senior management level across government (Commonwealth State, and Local), non-government sectors, community organisations, advisory groups, victim survivors etc.
• Lead designated projects, programs and activities ensuring that the implementation of new initiatives and other changes are effectively, confidentially, ethically, and sensitively managed.
• Represent the team in a range of relevant forums.
• Through a commitment to continuous learning, stay informed about emerging trends, methodologies, and best practices in monitoring and evaluation.
• The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
