Duties
- Carry out fabrication work and associated programs in line with workplace priorities and timelines and complete certification work as per legislation requirements, and Australian Design Rules (ADR)Undertake design and assembly of fabricated componentry associated with the build of emergency services vehicles and other related programs.
- Operate, modify and repair specialised operational equipment to emergency standards, as required.
- Assist in the recovery of disabled vehicles, container deployment, general tilt tray and forklift operation.
- Assist with work in the field during emergency situations including wildfire and participate in work undertaken out of the area and outside of normal business hours, as required.
- Accurate recording of parts, labour, and construction drawings for allocated work.

Prepare and complete time sheets and job cards including the accurate recording of parts and labour for all work allocated.
Assist with the ordering, receipting, and recording of stock and other consumable stores in accordance with Departmental requirements.

Desirable Requirements
- Qualifications within a relevant trade.
- Current forklift licence.
- Current heavy vehicle licence.
- Current working at heights licence.
