Job description:
Responsible for coordinating ICT business functions within the ICT Operations branch, including asset management, contract administration, procurement, financial monitoring, and the administration of the ICT Service Catalogue. The role supervises a small team and contributes to ensuring value for money, compliance with government requirements and the development of ICT policies to achieve the delivery of efficient and effective ICT services.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate the lifecycle of ICT hardware and software assets including fleet optimisation, refresh cycles, and disposal ensuring all processes comply with departmental and government requirements. This includes working closely with ICT Client Services to schedule hardware deployments and asset replacements in alignment with operational priorities and service delivery timelines.
- Administer ICT contracts while fostering business partner relationships, monitor performance against agreed deliverables, and contribute to negotiations that support value for money.
- Undertake ICT procurement activities in line with Treasurer’s Instructions and agency policy and manage the administration of software licensing and hardware leasing arrangements.
- Contribute to the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of the agency’s ICT budgets and expenditure, providing analysis to support planning and decision making, and ensuring compliance with financial frameworks.
- Maintain the ICT Service Catalogue within the ITSM tool, ensuring products and services are documented, accessible, and aligned to business requirements.
- Manage relationships and engagements with ICT suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, contributing to effective communication and service delivery outcomes.
- Supervise and support a small team, providing guidance, allocating work, and assisting with performance development in line with agency values.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve ICT business processes, service delivery, and support ICT governance and compliance, and assist with the development or review of ICT policies as required.
Desirable Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in financial management or information technology.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
