Job description:
To contribute to the effective operation of the Safe Families Coordination Unit (SFCU) by supporting the identification and assessment of risk and harm in family violence matters, by researching, collating and analysing information from agency databases. The role also provides high-level administrative and executive support to the Safe at Home Coordination Unit and contributes to the efficient delivery of services across the unit.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Use agency databases to identify information which may add to a cumulative assessment of risk and harm to victims of family violence, children affected by family violence and to perpetrator risk of repeat family violence.
- Collect and collate relevant information across all agency databases through liaison, dialogue, and research and advise of information that may increase or decrease the risk of family violence.
- Provide relevant and proportionate information to support the agency’s multi-risk assessment.
- Provide initial analysis of the risk areas identified during research.
- Identify any service or system gaps during research and advise the supervisor accordingly.
- Perform the duties of the SFCU DoJ Investigator during their absence from the unit.
- The incumbent may be assigned additional duties and will perform administrative and clerical functions, including executive support and workflow management, to support operations across units.
Essential Requirements
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
