About You
Treasury is looking for a proactive and capable Departmental Liaison Officer to join our Office of the Secretary Branch.
This is an exciting opportunity to take initiative, conduct research, and anticipate requirements to ensure the timely and efficient co-ordination of information and document flow between the Department and the Treasurer’s Office.
You will have exceptional organisational and judgement skills. As a key point of contact within the Treasurer’s Office, your success requires the ability to have excellent communication and people skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
This role suits someone that is comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and able to adapt to changing priorities. You will have a proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.

About the Branch
The Office of the Secretary provides high level analytical, research and administrative support to the Secretary, Deputy Secretaries and major Departmental Committees and manages relations between the Department, the Ministerial offices, Cabinet and Parliament. The branch monitors and reports on both Treasury and the Treasurer’s compliance obligations, and advice and actions requested by the Treasurer’s Office. OTS is also responsible for departmental communications and coordinating the Annual Report.
