Job description:
The occupant of this position will:
• Coordinate the day-to-day transactions for the Business Enquiries and Transactions Team.
• Lead and mentor the Business Enquiries and Transactions team to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded, on every occasion, by providing professional, efficient, and quality service.
• Provide the team with ongoing training and sound advice to achieve the accurate and efficient delivery of a broad range of client services for Registration and Licensing Services, including:
o Providing the team with sound advice on a various registration and licensing transactions and client enquiries.
o Timely investigation and liaison with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues or problems for a range registration and licensing matters; and
o The accurate collection, receipt, and refund of monies in accordance with established legislation, policies, and procedures.

Period of Appointment
Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for two years.
Duties
- Lead and mentor the team in their daily activities to achieve the accurate and efficient delivery of a broad range of client services for Registration and Licensing Services.
- Access, interpret and update a range of information on the Motor Registry System in an accurate and timely manner in-line with established practices and procedures.
- Lead and undertake continual monitoring and revision of the team’s processes to ensure they are accurate and align with modern client service practices.
- Assess, investigate, resolve, and process a range of transactions, including enquires relating to rejected payments, daily banking, amending information into the Motor Registry System and processing refunds for clients.
- Assess and action a range of registration and licensing payments received by Registration and Licensing Services, follow-up and liaise with clients and external stakeholders to achieve a satisfactory and timely outcome.
- Provide sound advice to clients and other stakeholders in an appropriate and client focussed manner.
