Hours per fortnight

Duties
- Lead and manage the delivery of corporate services that enable the Commission to meet its organisational objectives, including governance, human resources, information management, technology, procurement, finance, and facilities services.
- Lead and manage a small team, providing direction, work allocation, professional development, and performance management to ensure high-quality outcomes and capability development.
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Board, and senior leadership team, and participate in organisational strategic planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Manage the delivery of human resources and personnel support including: the recruitment lifecycle; staff performance management and generic training; implementation of wellbeing and diversity frameworks; government policy; and work health and safety and workers’ compensation.
- Manage financial management and administration functions including: the provision of a timely and accurate budget; preparation of financial reports; and financial forecasts and strategic advice to the CEO, Board and senior leadership team.
- Ensure appropriate governance measures, policies and procedures, delegations and risk management frameworks are well established, monitored and actively implemented across the organisation, including: IT services; information management; complaints administration; cyber-security; procurement; and contract and facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant external statutory reporting requirements, including: overseeing audits (internal and external); monitoring of the service level agreement; and acting as advisor to the Commission’s Risk and Audit Committee.
- Build and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support efficient and effective service provision, communication, and collaboration on strategic issues.

Desirable Requirements
A tertiary qualification relevant to human resource, administration, financial management or other relevant discipline.
Experience working in or with the public sector, particularly in human resource management positions.
