This major program offers a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Prosecution Consultant to make a significant impact to the Justice Connect Program by providing high-level subject matter expertise and strategic advice on prosecution matters.

Duties
- Be the primary conduit between the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Justice Connect and the Department Police Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) Prosecution on all matters relating to prosecution.
- Be the primary conduit between the DPP, Justice Connect, Supreme Court, Crown Law, and Magistrates Court on all matters relating to prosecution engagement with Tasmanian Courts.
- Make decisions, as required, in relation to the development of the DPP matter management system, consistent with the delegation from the DPP.
- Maintain an effective and positive relationship between the Justice Connect Program and senior staff of the DPP.
- Chair the Public Prosecutions sub-committee and liaise with other sub-committees, where required, to develop end to end processes.
- Report to the Astria Victims, Courts and Prosecution (AVCAP) Project Team including participating in forward planning and management of risks & issues.
- Monitor progress of the Justice Connect Program against milestones and objectives as they relate to DPP.
- Perform other duties as envisaged by the assigned classification under the relevant industrial award or agreement and in accordance with the skills, competence and training of the occupant.

Desirable Requirements
- Relevant tertiary or industry recognised qualifications and expertise in Project Management.
- Certification or experience in Agile development practices.
