What you'll be responsible for
- Delivering initiatives within business operations, risk and governance programs to realise better business practice.
- Implementing initiatives and improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery excellence across the business.
- Developing and coordinating reporting that aligns with and supports management of operational and governance frameworks.
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the agency’s Business Services’ Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the Department of State Growth.
- Providing operational support to the Chief Operating Officer by supporting initiatives, coordinating reporting and facilitating communication across the team to realise program objectives.
What you'll work on
- Reviewing business ways of working and developing initiatives and solutions to improve operational effectiveness, communication and collaboration across teams, including supporting the adoption of new tools and methodologies.
- Working across the team to support the operationalisation of the agency's Risk Management Program, through the monitoring, maintaining and reporting of activities.
- Developing and reviewing corporate information management processes and systems, including establishing standards and usage guidelines.
- Enhancing the Corporate Policy suite by collaborating with policy owners on review, updates and standardisation to optimise business effectiveness.
- Supporting the Audit and Risk Committee through meeting coordination, paper preparation, action management and deliverables tracking.
- Supporting the agency's contracting function through targeted administrative support, reporting and low-risk contract coordination.
- Developing reporting frameworks and supporting report preparation and analysis, delivering insights that drive improved efficiency and support agency needs.
- Supporting the development and implementation of sustainable business practices across agency operations, identifying opportunities to enhance social responsibility and environmental sustainability through the agency’s Positive Impact Plan.
- Coordinating the effective internal implementation of the agency’s Business Services SLA across areas of service delivery and monitoring and reporting on performance standards and issues.
