Job description:

The objective of this position is to develop and implement projects and programs that support WorkSafe Tasmania and its Strategic Plan.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

  • Manage a range of projects that contribute to the delivery of the WorkSafe Tasmania Strategic Plan.
  • Provide strategic management to the businesses unit to ensure the delivery of multiple projects within the required specifications of time, budget and quality.
  • Provide high level advice and information to stakeholders and senior management on a broad range of matters relevant to the delivery of projects relevant to WorkSafe Tasmania
  • Prepare high-level correspondence, reports, briefings and other documentation as required in the delivery of WorkSafe Tasmania projects.
  • Manage the human, physical and financial resources of the Projects Unit.

Desirable Requirements

  • Proven experience in the delivery of multiple complex projects within defined constraints
