Job description:
Contribute to the operation of the Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC) through the management of high-level corporate business services and oversight of the established Business Services team.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Develop and maintain sound governance and corporate policies, plans, and procedures, including those relating to delegations, decisions, and risk management.
- Maintain oversight of the Finance Officer, Accessibility & Inclusion Coordinator, and the Business Design & Improvement team staff and their functions.
- Manage TEC property lease requirements, including the associated service contracts and maintenance programs, together with general corporate business support issues and functions.
- Manage and support the onboarding and induction of TEC permanent staff; ensure staff compliance with compulsory training and manager compliance with annual performance development processes; and be the TEC representative on the Department of Justice Just as Well Champions group.
- Support the use and upkeep of a record management system.
- Embed and support access and inclusion principles and practices across the organisation.
- Collaborate with the broader leadership team to achieve the objectives of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plans.
