Job description:
Coordinate the development and implementation of the Division’s Emergency Management Program, to assist and provide advice to the General Manager and line managers in relation to emergency management and ensure that the Emergency Management Program is maintained in compliance with requirements and coordinate performance reporting.

About the role
The Coordinator (Biosecurity Emergency Preparedness, Response & Recovery) will coordinate the development and implementation of the Division’s Emergency Management Program.
- Support the administration of the Emergency Management Program.
- Ensure operational readiness and integrity of the program.
- Work with industry and critical stakeholders to improve biosecurity preparedness.
- Represent the Division on inter/intra-agency working groups.
- Participate in biosecurity emergency responses in functional lead roles (when required).

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Desirable requirements
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in emergency management, or equivalent level, relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.
- A current driver’s licence.
