Job description:

Be an important part of a small dynamic team to deliver the payroll functions for the Department.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your leadership capabilities while supporting the Team Leader Operational Services in delivering the Department’s payroll function. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where your contributions will make a real impact.

Ideally you will have:

  • the skills to guide and support a payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • the ability to interpret and apply HR legislation, policy and procedures to help resolve complex matters and to provide clear, practical advice to stakeholders.
  • well developed interpersonal skills to assist in developing team members and help them prioritise tasks effectively.
  • strong analytical and excel skills.

About the Branch

The Human Resources branch develops and embeds contemporary people and culture practices and provides payroll and recruitment services for Treasury. HR provides high-level consultancy advice on complex strategic HR issues and partners with stakeholders to deliver a responsive, high quality and seamless service.

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.
