Job description:

This role involves leading a professional team responsible for information collection, tax intelligence sharing, business system support, and staff training. You will coordinate system projects, ensuring milestones are met and keeping management informed. The position offers flexible work arrangements and access to learning and development opportunities. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, capable of managing a team, analysing complex issues, and communicating technical matters to stakeholders.
  • Lead a collaborative and professional team undertaking a range of activities including information collection and analysis, tax intelligence sharing, business system support and providing staff training.
  • Coordinate system projects, ensure milestones are met and keep Branch management informed.

About You

About the Branch

As part of the Tasmanian Department of Treasury and Finance, the Revenue Branch (the State Revenue Office) is responsible for administering a number of state taxation, grant and rebate laws.

Period of Appointment

Permanent, flexible

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.
