About You

This is a great opportunity to apply and develop your leadership abilities to assist with the facilitation of Budget Development and to contribute to the development of budgetary and financial management policy and related process and systems. 

You will be a motivated and capable individual with sound judgement combined with strong analytical, organisational and communication skills. Your success requires the ability to coordinate and lead research and analysis on complex issues; define and develop recommendations; clearly articulate difficult technical issues to stakeholders; and demonstrate leadership and initiative in a team environment.

About the Branch

Budget Management Branch is responsible for all aspects of the development, monitoring and presentation of the State Budget on behalf of the Tasmanian Government. The branch monitors the ongoing agency budgetary performance and the development of Budget policy related matters.
