Job description:

Use your experience with enterprise-level databases or large servers to contribute to the smooth running of the Departments ICT infrastructure.

About the role

The System Administrator (Unix Infrastructure) is responsible for maintaining the availability and efficiency of the Agency’s Unix Server.

  • Work with a range of technologies including virtualisation, package and configuration management, and source repositories.
  • Maintain the Agency’s Java-based web application tier infrastructure and Oracle/PostgresSQL/MariaDB database infrastructure.
  • Provide support to application developers.
  • Maintain existing and implement new standalone applications.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
