Job description:

Provide friendly and efficient administrative support to Allied Health outpatient clinics, managing bookings, client enquiries, and working collaboratively within a team.

The Team:

Allied Health Services THS NW supports the NW Community requiring our Allied Health services at our Major Hospitals, Outreach sites and Community Health Centres.  Our work needs the support of an Administration Team to help us with customer service and filling our many wide and varied outpatient clinics.

The administration roles advertised will form part of an Allied Health Administration Team that predominantly works to support Outpatient Clinics and Services provided across the NW Coast.

The Role:

The role is one of an Allied Health Administration Team that supports our outpatient activity. You will need:

  • Customer service - you will welcome, book and reschedule clients attending our Allied Health Outpatient clinics.
  • Computer and telephony skills - you will be talking with clients of the North West community on a regular basis, booking and rescheduling appointments.
  • Teamwork - you will be part of an Administration team where we all work together to get the work done.

Details of appointment:

Multiple, permanent, full time, day worker positions, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 22 June 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award.

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
