We are seeking a motivated and compassionate professional with strong leadership and teamwork skills to join our interdisciplinary team. As the Statewide Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership, drive service development, and play a central role in the coordination and integration of rehabilitation services across the state, while remaining connected to clinical care through inpatient and outpatient services.

The Role:
As a member of the Tasmanian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (TPRS), the Statewide Clinical Lead:
- Provides leadership and management in the development and operation of the statewide service and the staged implementation of the TPRS Model of Care, under the broad direction of the Head of TPRS and Clinical Director - WACS and in collaboration with local multidisciplinary teams across the State.
- Actively contribute to strategic service delivery issues and the efficient and effective provision of paediatric rehabilitation care across the state based on clinical standards and best practice principles, within an interdisciplinary framework, providing leadership and direction and ensuring a high standard of service provision.
- Provides specialist advice and is a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including multidisciplinary teams, families/carers, referrers, clinicians, managers, and external service providers.
- Carries formal management responsibility for performance development, leave approval and recruitment of the North/Northwest TPRS Coordinator and support for local allied health teams.
You will need:
- Demonstrated high-level knowledge, clinical experience, and skills in the delivery and/or coordination of paediatric rehabilitation care and/or related clinical practice areas within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills including high-level strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills, highly developed skills in communication and building effective workplace relationships.
- Demonstrated behaviour in alignment with the principle of child-and family-centred care and the TPRS vision, mission, and values together with the ability to contribute to service review and development, performance monitoring and evaluation strategies.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $135,002 to $138,296 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course or program of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
- Current Working with Children Registration
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Postgraduate studies in relevant clinical area/s, public health, health service leadership or research experience.
- Current Driver’s Licence
