Job description:

Facilitate high quality client/patient focused “front of house” services to medical administration, particularly customised to the EDMS.

The Role:

The Executive Support Officer:

  • Provides high-level administrative and executive support to the Executive Director - Medical Services (EDMS) South, including providing adaptive and confidential executive support and undertaking a diverse range of projects as required.
  • Coordinates the preparation of complex and confidential documentation including Ministerials, Question Time Briefs, Budget Briefings and Right to Information requests.
  • Facilitates meetings, interactions and communications within the Office of the EDMS, including the Deputy EDMS, with highly professional presentation interfacing with all key stakeholders including the public.
  • Facilitates high quality client/patient focused “front of house” services to medical administration, particularly customised to the EDMS.

You will need:

  1. Demonstrated high level planning, organisational and coordination skills, particularly in the provision of executive support in a demanding senior management environment.
  2. Analytical, organisational and investigative skills, together with the ability to interpret and analyse information, think critically, solve problems, identify relevant issues and recommend or decide on appropriate action within a senior management environment.
  3. High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present meaningful and accurate reports and documents and the proven ability to negotiate and liaise with a wide range of clients in a sensitive and confidential manner.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
