The Team:
To be Tasmanian is to value quality over quantity. We create, preserve, and protect the extraordinary. With quiet confidence, passion, and perseverance, we strive for excellence. Could you be Tasmanian?
Here, you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to breathtaking coastlines, national parks, and fresh produce crafted by local hands. After a rewarding day at work, you won’t be stuck in traffic for an hour—you're more likely to be unwinding with a stroll through the city or hitting the trails of a mountain within minutes.
We offer an exciting and rewarding place to work, where contemporary, evidence-based practice is at the heart of what we do. Our Allied Health Assistants work closely with our team and collaborate with the broader multidisciplinary team, creating an environment that fosters growth and professional development.
This important role within the Community Occupational Therapy team will see you supporting Occupational Therapists in the delivery of patient-centred care. You will assist clients in achieving their goals by providing tailored in-home support, which may include equipment setup and safe utilisation, as well as falls prevention and fatigue management education. Additionally, you will support a range of therapeutic activities, document progress notes, and collaborate with the Occupational Therapist in client assessments and reviews.
We are committed to helping you thrive and will ensure you are fully welcomed into our team from day one. If you have prior experience in healthcare, aged care, or the disability sector, or if you're passionate about patient-centred care and supporting individuals to reach their goals, you'll find this role a rewarding next step in your career.
