The Team:
Podiatry North is based in the Northen Integrated care Centre in Launceston and services areas in the North and North east of Tasmania. We are a small team with a High Risk Foot Podiatrist, Musculoskeletal Podiatrist, Community Podiatrists and Allied Health Assistants, working together with a wider multidisciplinary team to address the foot health needs of this area.
The Role:
- In collaboration with the team, assess the podiatry needs of the population, especially those of vulnerable groups with feet at risk of amputation, deformity and pain.
- Plan, implement and evaluate community-based programs that address the podiatric needs of the population.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver flexible primary health care programs, in response to identified local needs.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, quality assurance and relevant research projects as required.
- Ensure all clinical practice complies with work health and safety policies and procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
- In conjunction with the Manager, Podiatry North, contribute to the formulation of objectives, policies and priorities.
You will need
- Act as a consultant in the area of podiatry.
- Have at least 2 years experience in podiatric practise.
- Based on assessed need, develop unique programs to address highlighted foot health and well-being issues.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

- Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
