
The Team:
The Devonport Adult Community Mental Health Service (BACMHS NW) is a case management service that provides expert mental health care including assertive case management, triage, holistic physical and mental health assessment, clinical risk management and crisis intervention within the community setting.
The Role:
As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality Mental Health Services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Assistant:
- Provides day to day administrative support to a designated team/unit.
- Contributes towards optimal administrative and business support processes at the local level.
You will need:
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and confidentiality to work in a senior management and clinical environment under pressured circumstances.
- Ability to undertake administrative duties, including the efficient operation of keyboard and word processing equipment, office automation systems and facsimile machine and possess a high standard of secretarial skills, together with knowledge and experience of sound office management practices.
- Ability to work either individually or as a member of a team.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 54.72 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
