
The Team:
As a Food Services Officer working in the RHH Cafeteria, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that plays a vital role in providing visitors and staff with nutritious meals and great service. The team works collaboratively to ensure the safe preparation, handling, of food combined with great service. With a strong focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork.
The Role:
This position works in the RHH Cafeteria. You will be responsible for general food preparation, service, and cash handling duties. Providing a service for staff and visitors in a healthcare setting.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative team, maintaining food safety protocols, operating kitchen equipment, and contributing to a clean and efficient food service environment.
You will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food preparation and production, cook-chill procedures and working within a large organisation.
- Understanding of general food handling and food hygiene regulations and proven ability to maintain all work areas and equipment in a hygienic state, including maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance in accordance with food services policies.
- Good communication skills with a proven ability to understand both written and verbal instructions and cooperate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
