
The Role:
The Finance Services Officer undertakes specialised financial and administrative duties, including maintaining financial records, in accordance with relevant service standards, legislation and Departmental policies and procedures. The role includes but not limited to; invoicing, receipting and debt follow up activities.
The Team:
The Revenue Management North West team is multi-skilled providing high level financial support with a stakeholder focus to maximise hospital revenue.
You will need:
- An operational knowledge, or ability to acquire that knowledge, of financial instructions, legislation and accounting procedures and policies for receiving, processing and recording financial system payments and adjustments.
- Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy and within set deadlines, and to deliver with a stakeholder focus. An understanding of continuous quality improvement and its practical application in the work environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients, staff and business organisations.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of twelve months.
The location of the position will be negotiated with the successful applicant - Parkside Building, Burnie or Mersey Community Hospital, Latrobe.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
