The Role:
The role will function as the executive support operating with limited supervision, independence and autonomy in relation to day-to-day tasks and responsible for providing high level executive and administrative support to the Medical Director - Primary Health North and other Primary Health Management leaders, including but not limited to:
- Provide a high level of administrative and executive secretarial support. This includes, but is not limited to, general administrative tasks such as compilation of agenda papers, minute taking and preparation of meeting documentation, routine correspondence, scheduling of meetings and appointments and filing, drafting and editing documentation.
- Maintain administrative support systems necessary for the efficient and effective processing of financial, staffing and other resource information and material for the Unit and provide executive secretarial support including document production duties of a highly confidential nature including Ministerial correspondence, Cabinet submissions and reports.
- Research, compile and coordinate background notes, briefings and other management information as required by the Medical Director, including the dissemination of requests for briefings to other staff within Primary Health.
- Develop, maintain and monitor effective communication systems to ensure the timely flow of information to and from Primary Health North and maintain the office central filing and retrieval system and other statistical databases and produce regular reports as and when required. Undertake other data related activities including research and analysis. The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties not specifically mentioned that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 July 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
