Job description:

The Aged Care Reform Unit works at a statewide level to support the care and services delivered by the Tasmanian Health Service to older Tasmanians. The Unit works strategically in supporting operational areas to improve the interface between the Tasmanian Health Service and the aged care sector.

The Role:

The Program Support Officer will:

  • Provide effective and efficient project and administrative support to the Aged Care Reform Unit.
  • Provide high quality and timely secretariat support for Aged Care Reform Unit Committees and working groups
  • Undertake specific projects as required.

You will need

  • Well-developed administrative and project management sills
  • Good interpersonal communications and team skills

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
