
The Role:
To provide project leadership in the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government’s Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings (COI) relevant to enhancing Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) responses and programs.
The position will specifically support coordinated planning and implementation of activities for improved mental health responses for children and young people including those in Out of Home Care and involved with the Youth Justice Systems and planning of the proposed child and adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Programs.
The role will be required to deliver definitive high-level strategic advice to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and collaborating with the broader CYMHS leadership team and other CYMHS project managers to ensure that the delivery of strategic programs is consistent and integrated.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic professional with experience in driving cross sectorial mental health service system change and enhancement activities as part of the broader CYMHS Reform program.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2027.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:
$128,102 to $134,832 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
