The Role:
The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.
You will need
- A strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices, with effective assessment, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- An ability to respect individual and group rights, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- An understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, with the capacity to contribute to quality improvement and research activities.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from 2 February 2025
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
