The Team:
You will be working as part of the centralised Department of Health ICT division. Digital Enterprise Services is one of several portfolios working collaboratively with subject matter experts across the division, focussing on the availability, performance and functionality of a suite of applications, including the Department's integration platform, its web sites, and database farm.
The Role:
The role delivers a range of business and/or project activities that enhance service delivery to achieve results. Within this context the role:
- Develops and provides advice, guidance, and support in one or more of the following: business improvement; customer service; event and/or learning management; information management; data collection and processing; business administration and/or project activities.
- Works collaboratively within, and across, teams and with stakeholders to meet agreed briefs and branch service standards.
- Works with Finance Systems, HR Systems and Enterprise Systems
You will need to:
- Be agile and able to join dots in a big picture quickly.

Deliver outcomes that have a significant influence on service delivery performance and outcomes for the
business unit, ensuring that guidelines, systems, and processes are applied appropriately to integrate activities to
meet specified objectives.

Inform and guide customers and interpret and explain complex operational procedures, including providing
advice and detailed information to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide business advice, services and support that meet customer requirements and improve the customer experience. Activities may encompass project management activities; performing information management or service management tasks; logging issues; actioning financial, procurement and human resources requirements; facilitating professional learning and other events; supporting the implementation of change initiatives; assisting customers with enquiries; and/or business as usual (BAU).
- Implement operational service delivery, process improvements and business solutions including the preparation and maintenance of supporting documentation. Facilitate others to better understand and utilise branch processes and procedures, including delivering training as required. Deliver support and services in accordance with service level agreements, standards, or business requirements.

Details of appointment: General Stream, Band 4
Two Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible and for a period of 3 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
